By placing an order with Probike Security, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined on this page.
Ordering Goods
By completing and submitting the electronic order form you are under no obligation at that point to purchase goods. We will calculate your order and issue you with an invoice (via Paypal). If you chose to accept the invoice and progress to order the goods via PayPal you are then committed to purchase the goods as listed in the invoice.
Probike Security reserve the right to refuse or reject any order placed by a customer without issuing a reason.
Prices & pictures are correct at time of publishing but may vary at any time without notification, therefore please check your PayPal invoice carefully before processing your payment.
Payments
We use PayPal as our main payment method. On receipt of you order we will issue you with a PayPal invoice which will list the items you wish to order and the total cost, including delivery. As mentioned above, you are under no obligation to purchase goods until you have processed payment via PayPal. Invoices are valid for 30 days.
PayPal accepts both credit and debit cards. Probike Security are not provided with your card details; these are processed by PayPal, therefore making your transaction as secure as possible.
Customers wishing to pay by cheque or postal order should print a copy of the PayPal invoice issued to them and send it with payment to Probike Security, 1 May Terrace, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S70 6HS. Please make cheque or postal orders payable to ‘Probike Security'. If paying by cheque, we will wait for the cheque to clear before dispatching the order (this usually takes around 5-7 working days).
Cancellation before goods are dispatched
If you wish to cancel your order you must inform us in writing. If we receive your cancellation prior to dispatching goods, we will be able to cancel your order and promptly issue you with a full refund.
Cancellation after goods have been dispatched (within the ‘cooling off period’)
Unfortunately we are unable to halt delivery of goods once dispatched, therefore cancellation after dispatch falls within the normal ‘cooling off period’. In line with Distance Selling Regulations, you have seven days after receiving the goods in which to cancel your order.
If you wish to cancel your order within the ‘cooling off period’ you must inform us in writing within seven days of receiving the goods.
For your protection, when you are returning items to us, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us.
All items returned must arrive back with us no later than 7 days after the date of cancellation. A full refund for returned goods will be issued once we have received them back. Items returned must be in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition.
You have a duty to take care of the items whilst they are in your possession. Probike Security reserve the right to reject returned items if they are found to have been damaged or not returned in a reasonable re-saleable condition.
Cancellation after the ‘cooling off period’
We want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. We will therefore offer you a little extra time to consider your purchase and give you the ability to return unwanted goods to us within 14 days of receiving your order (e.g. 7 days cooling off period + an extra 7 days). Returned items will be subject to a 10% restocking charge and you are responsible for the cost of returning goods to us.

Items returned must be in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition. You have a duty to take care of the items whilst they are in your possession. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange any of your items for something else we will gladly do this for you, however please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us. Exchanges must be made for goods of equal or greater value. Exchanges will be subject to additional delivery charges. When extra cost is required, we will issue you with another PayPal invoice in which to pay the extra cost.
Missing, damaged or faulty items
Please contact us by email or phone (Tel: 07957 745679) within 5 days of receipt of your goods to inform us of any shortages, damage to your delivery or faulty items.
Product warranties & guarantees
Some of the items we supply come with manufacturers warranties or guarantees against manufacturing defects or faults. Under all circumstances, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to Probike Security.
A copy of the original delivery note or invoice must by supplied with the item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any items returned to us under warranty unless accompanied by a copy of the original delivery note or invoice.
We cannot offer any timescale as to when a replacement item will be sent out as some manufacturers require items to be sent for testing before issuing a replacement. Replacements under warranty or guarantee may be subject to additional delivery charges.
Liability
It is most important that all persons or companies carrying out fitting work should competent in the task they are undertaking. The fitting of some items may necessitate the modification or removal of other parts.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that all items are fitted correctly & that all safety measures have been taken. Probike Security will accept no liability or responsibility for items or property damaged as a result of fitting / installing items incorrectly.

We will not be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or of loss by our carriers, only for the value of the goods & that we are not responsible for any labour charges incurred during the fitment or removal of suspected faulty or incorrectly supplied items.
